Here in Rouga Bay we’re in an exceptionally special place. The Ambracian Gulf is a national park and is home to a huge diversity of wildlife. In the skies above, pelicans, flamingos, kingfishers, storks, eagles (over 126 species of birds reside here). In the sea, we have the Mediterranean's largest resident population of bottlenose dolphins. Rays are a common visitor, several different species of (harmless) sharks, turtles are numerous, and if you look carefully you may spot seahorses. Like most boat owners, we love the sea and do our best to keep it as clean as possible. There are several steps we’re taking to care for your boats and for nature at the same time.

We have put down a barrier layer of gravel to help protect the ground, only pressure wash hulls once the boat is in place in the yard to minimise the amount of paint running straight into the sea, and we ask that all sanding is connected to a vacuum to protect the environment and the health of all customers. If you don’t have one, please ask us to undertake the sanding for you.
